Mednafen generic error fixed for successful emulation of pc engine or turbografx / tg16 CD

I faced issues with mednafen emulation. Mednafen is a command line utility therefore it's obviously weird to easily operate it. In other words, we do not have any GUI to communicate with mednafen.

I tried emulating PC engine or turbografx game (Castlevania Rondo of Blood (J) English translated version) on mednafen. I was not successful despite all of the best efforts on my behalf. I read the tutorial on how to emulate with mednafen (with GUI add-on), also did read official help from the mednafen itself, searched youtube for error message's fixes but all in vain.

I was getting Generic error "This Gui version is incompatible with earlier versions of mednafen 0.9.xx, update it". After updating, I was consistently receiving the same error. So were was the glitch? I continued working over the mednafen and ultimately fixed it.

Fix: Download the mednafen zip from fantasyanime. In downloaded zip all contents are okay except one i.e. mednafen.exe . The provided medgui version is not compatible with that mednafen version. Replace the mednafen version to 0.9.28-WIP as referenced by medgui helpme.txt inside same zip.

Conclusion: I used brain, spent time (in sessions) to reach the roots of issue and fixed it!

Solved / Fixed the issue: Official Mi PC Suite (aka MI Phone Manager) not working

I was also facing the above issue. This problem started when I updated my phone's (redmi 2 prime) stock ROM (MIUI 6.5 stable) to latest ROM / UI (MIUI 8.0 stable). I've later come to know on official forum site that new ROM update will disable the communication of pc suite with Windows desktop.

I extensively researched over internet to find the solution of this issue. It turned into panic and time consuming issue. Afterall I found the proper solution on MIUI global forum.

The solution is the latest MI PC Suite (translated from Chinese to English). You should know the offficial release of MI PC suite is outdated. I'm providing the link for unofficial MI PC Suite. Noteworthy it's a newer version as compared to PC suite available on MI's offficial site. I've tested it on Windows PC and bingo! it's working perfect. Good luck..

Conclusion: Let me tell you that it is the easiest method for completely managing your phone via computer. Other tricky methods that you might over internet are using developer tools like ADB or Android SDK. Nevertheless those are much complex to deal with.

Why xiaomi phones are bad

These are major issues detected with xiaomi phones. That's why xiaomi is a deal breaker:

1. They do not support all earphones.
2. VoLTE feature is missing.
3. Ah! they are still stuck with kitkat 4.4
4. Design is not so good like lenovo and huawei handsets. Xiaomi handsets are thicker and heavier.

Find below why should we say no to email or email service providers and what alternative is really better:

Why say No to email provider:

(1). All email service providers suck in delivering the mails. Why our mail failed to deliver & What the error was, we might not understand! Who cares to understand such error codes.
(2). We can't be sure whether our sent mails are really delivered or not. Guys! you might ever have faced more time upto 10-50 mins to ensure the delivery of mails and ultimately got frustrated by results.

Why should Prefer to use Whatsapp over email providers:

So there is a prefect solution that we fortunately have i.e "whatsapp":
(1). it sends almost all necessary files to our contacts without any hassle unlike the email providers.
(2). We can't send zipped files
(3). We can send document, video and image in all popular formats.
(4). We can also send contact, links and location.
(5). Last but not the least whatsapp is fast and real-time service.

Conclusion: Thus I'd recommend whatsapp as an alternative to email provider.

BSNL best hai mere liye | Yes or No

If you are planning to switch your current network subscriber to BSNL or wish to get a new BSNL connection. You might be confused in making the opinion whether it would be good for you or not. I'm providing the review here to help you out so that you can choose accordingly:

CONS:
1). BSNL is a govt. telecom operator company. It can activate the new SIM connections within a day or it might delay them upto a week.
2). Server can sometimes be down for couple of days thus refraining normal recharges.
3). Customer support is pathetic. Customer care executives never respond properly. Picking up of your call might take at least 2-5 mins after listening to the complete IVRS procedure.
4). 'Carry forward' unused data is only applicale on same rechages. If you recharge with another pack then you will lose the old remaining data.
5). Validity of SIMs is a voe as it's limited. One has to recharge with the validity to continue the services further.

6). It's felt very irritating while the network switches between 2G and 3G. Though you paid for 3G data but according to network availability you have to surf with 2G for couples of hours to long. This sort of switching activity in network may be frequent and it's observed daily.

PROS:
1). It has pan (presence across nation) India service.
2). It don't charge you for the calls while you are roaming. You can click here to check the roaming faqs.
3). It provides 3G at cheapest rates than any other network. Amazingly, its 3G data price is approximate to other's 2G prices. It provides good internet speeed.
4). It has no difference in prices between 2G & 3G. They're equivalent.

Update:
"Don't buy short validity data plan of BSNL" as updated on July, 2016. Because:
- Network switching has been more frequent than earlier. Edge is retaining for long every day.
- Edge is not able to send any data bytes. It's merely receiving. Although H+ network is observed expanding in more areas.
